About the role 

The Strategic Partnership Lead position at GroWrk Remote will manage our key fulfillment partnerships, and pricing strategies, oversee and standardize partner processes, and ensure competitive and accurate pricing for our clients. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, sales teams, and suppliers to develop effective strategies to provide timely and accurate services to our clients. The ideal candidate should have experience in vendor management.

Responsibilities

Pricing Strategy

  • Analyze market trends, industry benchmarks, and competitors' pricing to develop competitive pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, and operations, to align pricing with business goals.
  • Conduct regular pricing reviews to optimize profitability and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Implement pricing models and frameworks to ensure consistent and effective pricing across different regions and service offerings.

Quality Assurance

  • Conduct regular audits of pricing data and models to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Implement measures to address any discrepancies or errors found during the audit process.

Quoting Process Management

  • Develop and streamline quoting processes to enable efficient and accurate pricing for client proposals.
  • Collaborate with sales and account management teams to understand client requirements and provide timely and competitive quotes.
  • Create and maintain a pricing database or system to track and manage quoting information. Continuously assess and enhance quoting strategies to improve win rates and profitability.
  • Monitor the quoting process to ensure adherence to established procedures and guidelines.
  • Implement measures to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the quoting process.

Supplier Relationship Management

  • Cultivate strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and driving continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and supplier capabilities to identify potential partnerships and innovative solutions.
  • Evaluate supplier performance regularly and conduct supplier audits to assess compliance with quality standards and service level agreements.
  • Address any quality issues and drive improvements in collaboration with suppliers.

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive compliance framework to ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards across all aspects of the organization's operations.
  • Assess and mitigate risks associated with various processes and activities, including financial stability, data security, operational efficiency, and compliance.
  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard operations and ensure the integrity of data and information.
  • Regularly review and assess the effectiveness of internal and external controls and compliance measures.
  • Conduct risk assessments and audits across different functional areas to identify and address potential weaknesses.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement improvements and mitigate risks effectively.

What you need to bring

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, international business, finance, marketing, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CPQ, PSM) and/or Master's Degree are a plus.
  • Proven experience of 3+ years in supply chain, pricing operations, quoting, logistics operations, or related roles in the IT industry or technology services sector.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to leverage data and market insights to drive pricing decisions.
  • Experience in developing and implementing pricing strategies and quoting processes to support sales efforts and profitability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of pricing methodologies, competitive analysis, and market dynamics.
  • Familiarity with procurement, contract management, and supplier relationship management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
