About the role 

GroWrk is looking for a Sr Full Stack Developer to join our team in a fully remote, location-agnostic role. This pivotal position involves both front and back-end development, utilizing technologies such as Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, VueJs, and SASS. The ideal candidate will lead the development and integration of our clients' management dashboard, ensuring it is scalable, stable, and of high quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and testing of REST APIs and robust integrations with HR and Asset Management Software.
• Oversee the design, development, and testing of UI for web and mobile applications.
• Develop and maintain automated tests to ensure business requirements are met.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use in both frontend and backend development.
• Translate complex user and business needs into functional and efficient code.
• Implement and advocate best practices in full stack development to optimize our development and testing processes.
• Play a key role in the architectural design and scalability of our software solutions.
• Address and resolve coding issues across the stack in collaboration with the team.
• Work closely with the Lead Engineer and Product Manager to develop and refine software solutions.

What you need to bring

• Strong growth mindset, continually seeking new solutions and innovative approaches.
• Solid understanding of Algorithms, Data Structures, and Big O Notation.
• At least 5 years of experience in full stack development, including both frontend and backend.
• Extensive experience with Node.js, Express, Vue.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Proficiency in CSS preprocessors like SASS or SCSS and frameworks such as Tailwind.
• Proven ability to consume and design REST APIs.
• Experience in a cloud-based environment (GCP preferred) and serverless functions such as Firebase Functions or AWS Lambda.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience delivering software within a Scrum development process.
• Proficient use of collaboration tools like GitLab and Miro.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
