About the role 

GroWrk is looking for a Sr Full Stack Developer to join our team in a fully remote role. This pivotal position involves both front and back-end development, utilizing technologies such as Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, VueJs, and Tailwind. The ideal candidate will lead the development and integration of our clients’ management dashboard, ensuring it is scalable, stable, and of high quality. Additionally, the candidate will leverage modern AI tools, including Large Language Models (LLMs), to enhance code creation and testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead Development and Integration: Oversee the development and testing of REST APIs and robust integrations with HR and Asset Management Software.
• UI/UX Enhancement: Design, develop, and test user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• AI-Driven Development: Leverage AI tools and LLMs for code creation, code review, and automated testing to improve efficiency and quality.
• Automated Testing: Develop and maintain automated tests to ensure business requirements are met.
• Reusable Code Creation: Build reusable code and libraries for future use in both front-end and back-end development.
• Complex Problem Solving: Translate complex user and business needs into functional and efficient code.
• Best Practices Advocacy: Implement and advocate best practices in full-stack development to optimize our development and testing processes.
• Architectural Design: Play a key role in the architectural design and scalability of our software solutions.
• Issue Resolution: Address and resolve coding issues across the stack in collaboration with the team.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Lead Engineer and Product Manager to develop and refine software solutions.

• Growth Mindset: Strong desire to continually seek new solutions and innovative approaches.
• Technical Expertise: Solid understanding of Algorithms, Data Structures, and Big O Notation.
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in full-stack development, including both front-end and back-end.
  • Extensive experience with Node.js, Express, Vue.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Proficiency in CSS preprocessors like SASS or SCSS and frameworks such as Tailwind.
  • Proven ability to consume and design REST APIs.
  • Experience in cloud-based environments (GCP preferred) and serverless functions like Firebase Functions or AWS Lambda.Technical Skills:
• Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience delivering software within a Scrum development process.
• Collaboration Tools: Proficient use of collaboration tools like GitHub, Figma, and Miro.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• AI proficiency:
  • Experience using AI tools, such as LLMs, for code generation, code review, and testing.
  • Knowledge of prompt engineering and integrating AI-assisted development into workflows.
