Top Ten Home Office Setups For March 2022

We are back with a whole new home office setup for March. But before we get into that, here is what's happening in the world of remote work.

According to research by JobList, 81% of employees say remote work improved their mental health. The researchers surveyed 1,011 U.S. employees and asked how they felt about their mental health, work environments, and what employers were doing to foster a healthy workplace culture. The survey also reported that those who worked exclusively from home were also 17% more likely to report good mental health than those who worked remotely and on-site.

At GroWrk, we cover the latest tidbits and news on remote work trends in our newsletter, "The Remote Times." This will be fresh and crisp in your inbox every Friday, so do check it out to find interviews with remote work experts, curated content, and podcasts on everything remotely work-related.

As remote work has transitioned into the new normal, more and more people are sharing their WFH setups. A lot of these people do this because they are excited to show off their months of careful curation, while some want to inspire others with their WFH setup journey.

Whatever the intent, we are happy to rank the top WFH setups for all workspace lovers and nerds. As always, we included the fan-favorite, the "Funny" category! Check it out below, and don't forget to share it with your family and friends!

At the number 10 spot for March is this simple dual monitor setup by @kaushikaki. Staying hydrated while working is crucial to cognition and helps maximize physical performance. The setup from @kaushikaki screams simplicity. It includes a laptop and Acer monitor. To achieve simplicity, one must follow two steps: Identify the essentials and eliminate the rest. This is something Kaushik Akiwatkarhas done well.

@_Woodbytes_ setup is the literal definition of practical. We can see the Hauwei Mateview 28" monitor. This monitor's design and picture quality are superb, and with extra space in height, it is terrific for coding! We love those frames hanging on the walls. The frame with the black and white picture urges us to stop and go back in time, and we are wondering if it has the same effect on us?

We love @BandiShreyas portable 4-screen setup! Talk about everything in one. If you are wondering about the weight of the Xebec-Tri-screen 2, it is remarkably lightweight and weighs only 2 pounds. Which is less than half of a standard laptop. Also, it is compatible with every OS, regardless of the type of OS you use. In this setup, he has three screens and an Asus Zenbook. Talk about everything in one! You know more screens have always meant more productivity, flexibility, and speed. We love this setup for its uniqueness.

@mark_petereit we love this setup! In this setup, we can see the monitor is a Samsung CRG90 49” Curved QLED DQHD monitor that has eye comfort technology. The Speakers are Bose Companion II Series 2. Curved monitors are excellent for individual productivity at different levels especially if they are for gaming and graphic design, they are definitely the favorite. This setup agrees with the quote that “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.” That’s why we love it.

You can tell from @srikri_a setup that he is a millennial. This setup will take most millennials back in time when computers came in simpler designs and were positioned in an area with bookshelves. We love the display of awards, books, miniature art sculptures, and soundscores.

This is the dream setup for every bibliophile and every true Harry Potter fan!  We have often come to realize that the best setups are also the ones that feature skincare products. On the top part of the work desk, we can see the Sunshine Mimosa Ultra Shea Body Cream and the Sunshine Mimosa Fine Fragrance Mist.

We can also see two awards that tell us all we need to know about @srikri_a as someone who doesn't just have good skin but is good at a lot of other things. We see some charging cables and cotton buds on the desk but we are wondering where the chair is?

We love how functional @FrancoisRH setup is. Everything is within arm's reach. The headphones, the tab are all within arm's reach. We can also see that the headphones and mouse are of the same color. Is it safe to say that you like the color red, Francis? Or white?

Nice! We like how this setup glides from minimalistic to trendy. All great examples of minimalist design have one thing in common: they combine excellent usability with great aesthetics. This setup by @dmcgco is at the number 4 position because of how well he has combined aesthetics and usability.

This setup, although featuring reductive design elements, also has colorful accessories that lend a pop of color to the room. This is a brilliant intersection between remote WFH space and design. The WFH setup includes a thunderbolt display monitor, a Perre Charpin's PC task light, and an Apple magic keyboard, all sparsely arranged on a work desk with a custom-made top on a Zinus base frame.

We love this space for its simplicity and evocativeness. We also love how each piece makes bold design statements. Another example of this is @dmcgco's use of the new Sayl chair by Herman Miller. This minimalist and modern furniture use a flexible suspension material to create a comfortable and ergonomic chair that serves as yet another aesthetic connoisseur that sets this workspace apart from the rest. This is definitely a setup for productivity.

With @sofwath setup, it is easy to lose yourself with how calming the setup is. One of the reasons why this WFH space is in the top three is the monitor setup. We are huge fans of curved monitors and how sleek they look. We love the curved monitors not just for their sleekness but also for how they fill up more of one’s peripheral vision, which allows you to focus on your work instead of being distracted by what's happening around you.

On this setup, we have the Dell UltraSharp 49 Curved Monitor-U4919DW. The great American motto, "bigger is better," certainly applies to widescreen PC monitors. A wider screen allows you to display more documents, media, and games simultaneously. It is easy to perform side-by-side tasks on a widescreen monitor that would otherwise be impossible on a standard screen. Rather than switching between tabs and programs constantly, you can rearrange the windows on your screen so that everything you need is within easy reach.

The remaining part of the setup consists of a standing desk, a MacBook, an Elgato stream deck, and an ergonomic mouse and keyboard. We can also see an ergonomic chair, headphones, and a thermos flask. We also love the lights and how they lend to the ambiance nicely.

This setup is surely one for the books and the ambiance encourages clarity.

The first thing your eyes catch in this setup is the Modular Backlit Smart Light Bars. It makes the space look so much cooler and it is easy to immerse oneself here. We love this setup because of the beautiful lights that just leave you spellbound. This setup strongly demonstrates that expertly placed lighting can add another dimension to a space, bringing the design to life. We love this space because of how @kungfusquirrel used lighting to create depth and draw attention.

If that is the Samsung Odyssey G9, then this setup is a lot more fantastic. You can take a wide guess from this setup and say that @kungfusquirrel is an anime lover. Looking at the art pieces on the desks and the drawings on the wall, we can say @kungfusquirrel appreciates art. And we love it!

@spratt setup comes in the number 1 position. Take a good look at the vibe of this setup. It's beautiful! There are no cables in sight and the soundproof boards are a good way to utilize the plain wall. We love how functional the desk is and can only imagine how cozy the carpet feels. We love everything about this dual monitor setup that features 2 LG UltraGear Gaming Curved monitors placed on a double monitor stand. We also have the Sony A6300 camera set up on an Elgato light tripod, an Elgato ring light and stream deck, the Elgato hexagon acoustic film, the Go LXR mixer, a wireless Logitech mouse and keyboard, SCUF Controller, ASTRO A40 TR Headset, ASTRO Headphone Stand, and Shure SM7B Microphone.

Other parts of the setup are a repurposed oak dining table and Herman miller chair, two speakers, a PC, and an artificial plant. We love this setup for its 9/10 cable management and how well all the pieces come together nicely.

Trust us when we say that this is the modern-day man-cave!

In a true saving the best for the last fashion, we have this setup by @aboutdfir that features dual 75 inches 4K TVs. Why use a 32 or 40 inches monitor when you can just buy a 75 inches TV and live all of your dreams?

The other setup features include a recliner from the brand Artiss and a speaker system from JBL. He has a Core i7-4790 and a GeForce GTX 970. The only question on our mind is how does he remain comfortable with his legs outstretched for several hours while working?
