Top 10 Home Office Setups on Twitter: November 2022

We are back with a new edition of the top 10 home office setups on Twitter for November 2022. But first, we will discuss some recent trends in remote work.

Last month, LinkedIn’s State of the Labor Market report mentioned that there’s an increase in people searching for remote roles, but remote job postings are on the decline. The numbers show that remote job listings reached an all-time high of 20% in February but fell to 14% in October. Despite the drop, these postings still received more than half of the total applications.

Our newsletter, The Remote Times, covers the latest tidbits and news on remote work trends. This will be fresh and crisp in your inbox every Monday, so check it out for interviews with remote work experts, curated content, and podcasts on remote work-related topics.

As remote working has become more popular, more and more people are sharing their WFH setups. Some want to show off the time and effort put into creating their ideal setup, while others wish to inspire through their journey.

Whatever the intent, we are happy to rank the top WFH setups for all workspace lovers and nerds. As always, we included the fan-favorite "Funny" category! Check it out below, and don't forget to share it with friends and family!

10.

Opening our ranking for November is @BigKahunaaa’s setup. What first caught our attention was the green aurora borealis-looking background running across three monitors. Talk about how to make an impact.

An LED backlit keyboard brings the perfect contrast to the desktop’s background. We can only see a tiny part of the PC on the right that is most likely powering this workstation, but we can tell it also has some LED lighting that makes the whole thing pop out. The setup is complete with a Google Nest, a microphone and a Logitech mouse on a black desk mat.

We can see a theme on @BigKahunaaa’s desk: bright lights. Everything from the mouse to the microphone has some cool glow illuminating this moody picture. And it looks awesome! Just one question, is that a tiny Mayan pyramid on one of the monitor stands?

9.

What we love about @eliz_kilic’s setup is the homey feel. This looks like the perfect workstation to spend hours coding, podcasting, streaming; you name it!

@eliz_kilic boasts a pretty powerful setup: a Macbook Pro, an extra keyboard and mouse, an external webcam, an LG 4K monitor, a Blue Snowball mic, and wireless Sony headphones. We can see the full Apple ecosystem with the Macbook, the iPhone and the Airport Extreme shyly standing in the corner. Bonus points because everything looks nice and organized.

The cute little Baymax figurine, the unicorn, and the Divoom Ditoo Pixel Display bring out @eliz_kilic’s personality, as well as the hot pink laptop stand. We only wonder if you’re planning to grow the figurine collection.

8.

Coming in at number eight is this workstation by @TwistyShape. We can tell we’re stepping into streamer territory once we see the Elgato key light and stream deck. They’ve become a staple in all of our rankings and show creators' dedication to their setups.

As for @TwistyShape’s main setup, there are two monitors, a Logitech keyboard, mouse, the already mentioned stream deck and key light, a camera, and even a PS5 console. All this equipment rests on a black Secretlab standing desk. On the floor next to the desk is the PC powering everything.

We can tell @TwistyShape is a huge superhero fan just by looking at the art on the wall. How many collectibles are you keeping at home?

7.

Spot number seven in this month’s ranking goes to @leokellr for that fantastic floating monitor. This minimalistic workstation is everything but simple. The floating monitor is a great feat in itself but what hits the ball out of the park is the immaculate cable management.

The setup consists of a Macbook, a monitor, a keyboard, an ergonomic mouse and a microphone. Everything sits on a white standing desk with a black desk mat. A MagSafe charger and a rounded lamp in the corner complete the workstation.

The desk looks clean and spacious, while the rounded corner lamp makes this room feel cozy. We want to know all your tips and tricks for a perfectly executed cable management.

6.

We were amazed to count the four monitors that are part of this setup by @denzilv

Spot number 6 is well earned with that amount of displays. But the fun doesn’t stop there. There are two cameras, two microphones, and two Elgato key lights.

The setup is complete with what looks like a Keychron keyboard, a wrist rest, a Logitech ergonomic mouse, a pair of speakers, and a stream deck. A dark wood standing desk holds together this powerful gear and a blue desk mat brings everything together.

We love how the room is filled with anime illustrations and Pokémon merch here and there. We’re inclined to ask, which is your favorite Pokémon?

5.

What we like about @ridersovrohan’s setup is the glow. The monitors, the keyboard, the mouse pad, and the PC case are all casting that pink and blue glow that looks futuristic but playful at the same time.

A small webcam, an audio interface, a pair of headphones and two controllers make this workstation a gamer’s dream. For optimized performance, everything is placed on a light wooden standing desk.

It’s always refreshing to see how a powerful setup incorporates the user’s personality and we think @ridersovrohan did just that. We have to ask, are pink and blue your favorite colors?

4.

Spot four on our ranking belongs to @CharlesPattson’s setup for this master class in minimalism. We love how clean and organized this workstation looks.

It’s very pleasing to see that everything has its place and stand: the Macbook, the phone, the Airpods Max. Even the Magic Keyboard and mouse have their place on the desk mat that combines perfectly with the overall mood. The monitor is neatly prompted at the end of the desk, bringing everything together.

Despite the minimalistic style, personality shines through the small plant and the magazine with a leaf on the cover. We can’t help but ask ourselves if @CharlesPattson is a plant lover and which plant is his favorite.

3.

The coveted third spot on our ranking goes to @tdawgsmitty. This setup oozes a rugged atmosphere with a lot of character.

The setup consists of three monitors, Logitech keyboard and mice, webcam, DSLR Sony camera, microphone, audio interface, stream deck, and what looks like Elgato key lights.

We love how the black theme is consistent throughout the room, from the black desk to the black shades on the window. Besides, the Star Wars posters on the back wall and the figurines on the desk give a nerdy vibe that seeps through the entire room. We can only say: may the force be with you, @tdawgsmitty.

2.

This light blue gamer paradise belongs to @sowlzzy, taking second place in our November ranking. This setup follows an exciting use of horizontal and vertical monitors that are sure to make any day productive.

Be it gaming or streaming, this is a place that can get anyone inspired. The setup comprises the three monitors we already mentioned, a backlit keyboard, a mouse, a DSLR camera, a microphone on its arm, a stream deck, an Elgato key light, and a pair of headphones. Everything is powered by the PC case on the right, that is also lit with blue LED lights.

What we loved about this setup were the color matching and the wall's interesting texture. We also see some cute figurines on the shelf on the left of the desk bringing in some unexpected cute personality. Congrats, @sowlzzy!

Drumroll please! The winner of November’s wfh setup ranking is @jordanr

The winner is boasting three monitors following the two horizontal and one vertical model. The setup is powered by a transparent PC case with blue LED lighting that matches the blue fixture on the wall and the backlit keyboard.

All the streaming essentials are also there: the ring light, the microphone, the stream deck, the audio console, and the headset. Thank you @jordanr for giving us major inspiration. Very well done!

Funny

Last but not least is the fan favorite funny category. This time around we have an interesting take on ergonomic equipment with a kid’s slide acting as a chair. We are guessing it’s good for posture. Although the tiny desk might make it a bit uncomfortable. Anyways, thank you @TheJackForge for making us laugh!
