Top 10 Home Office Setups on Twitter : May 2022

We are back with a new edition of remote / home office setup for May 2022. But first, we will discuss some recent trends in remote work.

Indonesia is looking past its tourist beaches in Bali to lure travellers back to its islands. Top in this game plan, is a five-year visa for digital nomads that is expected to be introduced soon. Furthermore, from May 18, the nation has scrapped its RT-PCR requirements. With more and more companies across the world letting employees 'work from anywhere', this is a perfect opportunity for digital nomads.

In our newsletter, The Remote Times, we cover the latest tidbits and news on remote work trends. This will be fresh and crisp in your inbox every Friday, so do check it out to find interviews with remote work experts, curated content, and podcasts on everything remotely work-related.

As remote working has become more popular, more and more people are sharing their WFH setups. Some do this to show off how much time and effort went into creating their ideal setup, while some want to inspire others with their journey.

Whatever the intent, we are happy to rank the top WFH setups for all workspace lovers and nerds. As always, we included the fan-favorite, the "Funny" category! Check it out below, and don't forget to share it with your family and friends!

Coming at number 10 for the month of May is @movieandcricbuf setup. We like the simplicity of this setup. It has the basics, a laptop, a keyboard, an ergonomic mouse, a printer and a desk with storage space.

The monitor is the LG 27 inch 4K Ultra HD IPS Panel White Colour Monitor.  The IPS display of this gaming monitor offers impressive color accuracy—it covers about 98% of the sRGB color spectrum. And the wide-viewing angle helps highlight the true-color visuals, and it is color calibrated to maintain color accuracy on the screen and reduce gradual shifts in color. The visuals of this monitor really do make images look very realistic.

With @movieandcricbuf setup, you can tell he likes his workspace simple, clean and with enough desk space. And that’s the reason we like this setup.

We have @imRahulAggarwal setup at number 9. We like the colour of the desk and the easy arrangement of this setup. This setup consists of a keyboard, a laptop, an ergonomic mouse, writing materials, jar of pens and most importantly, a desk clock.

We can tell from the way the clock is positioned that for @imRahulAggarwal likes to stay on time, and we commend him for that.

This setup is a good way to utilize space and a corner of one’s apartment. Well done @imRahulAggarwal.

Our number 8 spot is @Padcorp’s setup. This workspace is peculiar because of the number of screens. There are three monitors, a laptop, and two sets of monitors to the left.

We like how most of the accessories are in twos: the headphones, the wireless mice, and the keyboards. We painted a mental picture of @Padcorp swirling from one desk to another when in full work mode.

We also like this setup has good lighting and most especially a water bottle to stay hydrated. This setup no doubt has enough backup equipment and we can’t wait to see what you decide on the wall decor.

Like Eliott Erwitt says, “Color is descriptive. Black and white is interpretive.” This is true of @xcaptaindaddy’s setup theme. We love how the black and white blends from the chair to the desk and the rest of the equipment.

The actual setup consists of one big monitor, a smaller monitor, stream deck and a transparent gaming CPU. The ergonomic chair is a nice touch as it reduces stress on the neck, hips, and spine. We always advise remote workers to get one for their WFH space.

@xcaptaindaddy we would like to know the feedback from your workplace when you sent in the picture of your setup.

@adPEXtwinDoNG had to come in at number 6 for its multiple screen setup. We like the uniformity in the size of the monitors.

As we look more closely, we can see that the setup has a laptop, keyboard, mouse, some office supplies and three monitors. The monitors are from Acer and ViewSonic. We can't clearly say what brand the third monitor is from but overall this is a functional setup.

With this setup, you don’t need to move in between tabs when working. Who needs multiple tabs when you have three monitors?

Here we have an interesting dual screen setup from @n00blet. We like the purple backlight coming from the keyboard and the pink tones from the headphones, mouse pad, and laptop.

There is no doubt that pink is @n00blet's favorite color. You can tell from the color of the headphones, mouse pad and laptop that n00blet likes getting items in specific colors. And that’s so cool.

The monitor is the 34” curver CU34G2/BK AOC. It has a curvature radius of 1500R and a panel resolution of 3440x1440. This monitor provides an incredible gaming experience with its WQHD resolution.

With its incredibly low 1ms response time, FreeSync and 100 Hz refresh rate it is well suited for fast-paced games. @n00blet's, we love your cool setup!

Coming in at number 4 is @clintonimaroo’s setup with two laptops, an LG monitor, a mouse, and a printer that also doubles as a monitor stand. We like how @clintonimaroo is utilizing flat surfaces for more desk space.

We can see a star medal on the wall, which is definitely something to be proud of. We are loving the ergonomic mouse pad with the blue-ish LED light coming out of the RBG light strip on the edge. We also like that his phone and AirPods are handy.

We notice the warm light coming from the lamp and it adds to the coziness of this setup. This is indeed a comfortable yet powerful workstation where magic happens. Big thumbs up @clintonimaroo!

3

@TrooperLadyy made a couple of changes to her setup. One notable change is the HyperX and Timthetatman mousepad which shows @TrooperLadyy’s personality. We like that you maintained the pink LED light, it adds to the color of your new mousepad.

The main setup consists of two speakers, an LG monitor, a mini and normal sized keyboards, a wireless ergonomic mouse, a gamepad, and another mouse.

This is indeed a colorful setup and we can tell that @TrooperLadyy is a vibrant person. Awesome!

2

For number 2 we have an awesome LED WFH setup from @redzrage. There are so many things to say about this setup but most important is its gorgeousness.

Taking a look at the background of @redzrage’s setup, we love the arrangement of the acoustic wall panels and the decor pieces. We like how neatly arranged the clock, lamp, calendar, backup keyboard, gamepad, headphone, and mini flower pot decorations are.

Moving to the main setup, there is a keyboard, an ergonomic mouse, water bottle for hydration (very important), a bowl of pretzel sticks to munch on and the AD110D0 AOC dual monitor which is suited perfectly for a business-focused dual-monitor setup.

We love how the LED lights and lamp blend giving a soothing ambience to this setup. Great planning @redzrage.

@teslimalabi_’s setup is a beauty to behold. The colour coordination, cleanliness, arrangement, cable management and ambience is top notch. Not only has @teslimalabi_ maximized the corner of the wall space to the left, he also made it functional for hanging vital accessories.

It is obvious that a lot of thought went into the arrangement of the book shelf and decor pieces. The lighting in the setup also adds to its inviting look. We can only imagine how lush the rug feels.

The components of this setup is a 24'' Class Full HD IPS LED Monitor with AMD FreeSync, stream deck, microphone, a wireless ergonomic mouse, wireless keyboard, ring light, and a foot rest cushion.

This setup will not only increase productivity, but also stimulate ideas. It is exquisite. This setup is number one because this is not just a work from home setup, it is a brainstorming station.

Funny Category

This setup is a mixture of both funny and cute. To the right side of this setup you can see the penciled  wall art done by the real boss of the house, while the other part belongs to @deba1602

From the screen on the laptop on the right, it seems @deba1602 has been subjected to watching the IPL Finals on an extended laptop. Thank you for making us smile @deba1602
