Top 10 Home Office Setups on Twitter: February 2022

This month, we are back with a brand new ranking of your favorite top 10 home office setups on Twitter.

In remote work news, It is no more news that Goldman Sachs' Chief Executive, David Solomon, has asked his workers to return to the office full-time

However, to the CEO's surprise, only half of the total number of employees came back to work. At its headquarters in New York, the building of 10,000 workers only saw a turnover of 5,000 people. The other 50% visibly ignored the two-week notice they had surely received.

We also cover the latest remote work trends in our newsletter, This will be fresh and crisp in your inbox every Friday, so do check it out to learn new tips from interviews with remote work experts, curated content, and excellent podcasts on everything remote work-related.

This month on Twitter, more people were posting their WFH setups than ever, as many people were excited to share pictures of their WFH space with other workspace lovers and nerds.

We had plenty of great setups to choose from and are left with these 10 to inspire your remote workspace journey. As always, we also included the fan-favorite "Funny" category! Check it out below, and don't forget to share it with your family and friends if you like!

Work from home setup with dual monitor setup and lights

10

At number 10, we have this workspace by @codeSTACKr! Let's talk about the amazing cable management and how well organized the whole setup is. How awesome is that? It is obvious why this workspace is at number 10.

Taking a sweeping glance at the amazing setup, we can see there are a lot of duals. A double monitor stacked on a dual-arm monitor mount with two Elgato lights.

Taking a sweeping glance at the desk, we can also find an ergonomic mouse and keyboard, a stream deck, a microphone, a camera, an Apple MacBook Pro (Retina, 15", Mid 2015), a Grovemade pen, and a miniature snake plant on the table.

We also couldn't help but notice the mug and water can, which are important for constantly staying hydrated while working.
can, which are important for constantly staying hydrated while working.

Work from home setup with one monitor and two elgato lights

At the nine spots, we have this WFH set up by @julioarrudaC. This is on the list because we love how it is made up of the bare essentials. You can never go wrong with a minimal setup. This setup features Elgato lights, an LG monitor, a stream deck, a microphone, and a mouse. The GitHub octocat and tentocat are favorites of ours.

We believe this setup can look even more amazing with better cable management.

Picturesque work from home space

8

This is the dream desk for @matiasfha and all of us looking at the picture right now. We would say the lighting is perfect for getting cozy up at the desk and just writing some codes.

The setup has a 34-inch Xiaomi Mi Curved monitor on an adjustable hand monitor mount. There's also a MacBook Pro M1, a Keychron K3 Ultra-slim Wireless Mechanical Keyboard, and an ergonomic mouse positioned closely to a Carpio 2.0 wrist rest. These are all neatly arranged on top of a desk pad, on a standing desk.

Other components of the setup include an OnStage VLD360 LED light, a book desk, headsets, and a mood board with a lot of family pictures. Aww, is there anything better than working while surrounded by pictures that capture sweet memories of your loved ones?

We would only love to advise Matias to manage his cables better to have a better-looking space and avoid tripping.

Work from home space with a curved samsung monitor

7

This setup by @mariatta is one of our favorites for a lot of reasons. Can you see the ST Ives moisturizer? After all, skincare is serious business, so we salute anyone who thinks their moisturizer should be a part of their work setup.

Let's get down to the elephant in the room, which is the Samsung Odyssey 49" ultra-wide monitor. Woah! We can't rave enough about how much we love this monitor! Two MacBooks, a webcam, a microphone, an ergonomic mouse, a keyboard, a led light, a kleenex pack, a mug, a glass cup, and a community service award are also part of her setup. We can already tell Mariatta is the coolest person ever!

We also love the sturdy standing desk. We only hope she has a good ergonomic chair to make the workspace super comfortable. The only advice we have is to improve her cable management.

Minimalist work from home space

6

If you could have a workspace, what would it be? We would like this workspace set up by @smakosh. We fall in love with it a little bit more every time we look at it. Sheeesh, this is one of our favorites. Maybe it is the intricately woven rugs we love, or maybe the setup itself screams less is more in the most picturesque way ever.

The actual setup features an ergonomic chair, a desk, and a 27-inch Samsung CF591 monitor. The Samsung CF591 is a great option for anyone who wants a curved monitor with larger screen size. Other things in the setup include a MacBook Pro, a mouse, keyboard, and trackpad, all on a desk mat, a router, and a table plant.

We love this space for its simplicity and how it prioritizes the essentials to achieve pure elegance. We also love the close to perfect cable management, although we still believe it can be better.

Work from home space with a lot of pick knick knacks

5

This is the most "barbiest" workspace we have ever seen! This is definitely a feel-good workspace that makes you imagine magical pixie dust, fairy godmothers, and unicorns. We especially love how we can associate this space with love, kindness, and femininity. Well done @ayDomo!

The workspace features an AOC Monitor, a webcam, a Macbook Pro, a mic, a keyboard, and a bottle of water to stay hydrated and productive. We especially love all the knick-knacks that make the place come together nicely.

Cute, picturesque WFH space

 4

OMG! @olivierbuffon swept our hearts away with this setup. How can this be so perfect? It's impossible to deny the serenity and simple beauty found in this workspace. We love this space even more because we realized achieving this look took a lot of deliberate planning.

We believe this setup features an autonomousdotai desk with grovemade shelves, a Dell UltraSharp 34 Curved USB-C Hub Monitor (U3421WE), an Elgato light, a table plant, headsets, keyboard, mice, and a Grovemade desk mat. Let's not forget the teacup. We would also like to give an honorable mention to the hair tie, a lifesaver everyone with long hair knows too well.

We have nothing but praise for this minimalist work from home space, which we believe is the ideal style for a home office where focus and organization should be top priorities.

 Dual monitors and lights WFH

3

We can never get tired of geeking over beautiful, well-organized workspaces. This setup by @iansu is currently our absolute favorite. This features a lot of duals, and we love it even more for it. After all, the best things in life come in twos.

In this setup, we have two 32" Class 4K UHD IPS LED Monitors with HDR10 and two Elgato lights that will ensure you shine bright like a diamond during zoom calls and video recordings. A little fun fact: Do you know that although Rihanna said "shine bright like a diamond" in her 2017 smash hit, diamonds don't shine? Well, welcome to my TED talk.

Back to the setup: the rest of it features two speakers, a wireless security camera, a stream deck, an audio processor, a laptop, and let's not forget the camera mounted on top of the monitor.

We love the keyboard, although we can't figure out if it is a KEYHOME KH87 or a CORSAIR-K60. Any keyboard nerds to help us out?

2

There are no words to describe this setup other than "gorgeous," "detailed," and "minimal." @jasonlong shared his home office on Twitter and it is breathtaking. He also used the thread to talk about the component specs and everything in between. He talked about everything, ranging from the Knick-Knacks, paintings, printer stand, couch, bookstand, and ultimately his work desk. The space was carefully selected and painstakingly arranged to give this coherent space that makes you just want to keep working.

His work desk features an Uplift desk, Audioengine A5+ Speakers, an LG Monitor on an adjustable arm monitor mount, a Blue Yeti USB Studio Quality Multi-Pattern Microphone with Stand, and a Herman Miller Embody ergonomic chair.

We almost forgot to add the always good to have the IKEA trash can, the Macbook, the customized Durgod Hades 68 swapped onto a DSA Granite keycap, the Custom USB cable, and the Esty wrist rest.

We would only like to ask Jason one question. What type of lamp is that? Is it the Adesso Dean Table Lamp or the 1970s Esa Style Danish Solid Teak and Black Leather Bottle Table Lamp? We love this space because of how bright it will be when the blinds are pulled up.

Sleek, futuristic WFH space

1

Can we get a drum roll for the number one setup of February?

This setup by @UltraLinx features an Ergonofis Sway desk, a standing desk with embedded controls paired suitably with a Herman Miller ergonomic chair.

We love this functional space because it has all the essentials for a work-from-home office. Other components include:

  • The snake plant.
  • The BOSE headphones on a walnut and metal headphone holder.
  • A hard drive bay stacked on an IKEA drawer.

He also has the 27" UltraFineTM 5K Monitor mounted on a HUANUO Laptop Monitor Mount Stand. A 14-inch MacBook Pro, Kanto YU2 speakers, an Apple Magic Keyboard and Mouse, a Native Union multi-device wireless charger, and a Shure MV7 USB Podcast Microphone are on his desk. This setup is number one because of how sleek and inspiring it looks.

LOL Category

We love the funny WFH setup category for the humor in it, but in this instance, we love this setup for the potential. This setup by @archillect features a laptop and an ergonomic mouse stacked on a cartoon with a big pack of water close by.

We are always big advocates of staying hydrated while working or learning to code, as in this case.
